Reba showcased the new music video for “Going Out Like That” this morning on NBC’s TODAY with a tease of a follow-up appearance on the program — her first performance on the show in 10 years — to chat about Love Somebody, which will hit stores April 14.
The country music icon has continued to engage her fans through social media and other platforms and given them first looks at her new music — her first in five years — and other ways to get them excited for Love Somebody. She also revealed the cover art and track listing via social media platforms and just this week hinted at the video premiere through her Instagram account.
The video (watch above) features Reba “narrating” through her performance as separate clips of a heartbroken young woman reclaiming her zeal for life. The video showcases resilience and empowerment as it progresses leaving a strong message that puts the video high up in the superstar’s canon of well-made videos.
Starting March 23, fans can pre-order Love Somebody at iTunes where they will instantly receive “Enough,” a song Reba recorded with Jennifer Nettles.
