It's been a month since he released Ride Me Back Home but Willie Nelson continues to dominate the pure sales chart. Right on his heels, though, is indie artist AdamCalhoun with his latest offering War. Two other releases, Ameracial and The Throne, both chart this week as well. Other new releases include the 10th edition of Average Joes Entertainment's Mud Digger 10 and that project sold 600 copies last week.
Look for the usual chart stars like Luke Combs, Eric Church, George Strait, Keith Urban, Maren Morris and more on this week's chart while upstarts like Runaway June and Morgan Wallen continue to impact the chart as well.

correction to the bottom of my previous post between those artists there are almost 13 diamond albums Celine & Mariah each almost have 3 as does Shania while Britney and Taylor each have or almost have 2 the two Celine currently has were released 20 months apart Falling Into You on March 11th 1996 and Let's Talk About Love on November 14th 1997 Falling Into You is eligible for at least 12 x platinum in the US having sold 11.8 million copies Taylor's 1989 is eligible for diamond Celine's first English greatest hits package is also eligible for diamond shipping 10 million copies in the US and selling 9.2 million

some of those numbers are decent considering how bad the music buying climate has been lately for example going from selling 8 million copies in the US on your first album to 500,000 on your 6th like Carrie Underwood did is bad Taylor Swift came out around the same time as Carrie Underwood did in the mid 2000's but has sold about 82% more records than Carrie Carrie has sold 18 million albums while Taylor has sold around 33 million making her the 5th best selling female since Sound scan began tracking for the billboard charts in 1991 #1 is Mariah Carey 56 million #2 Celine Dion 53 million #3 Shania Twain 43 million and Britney Spears #4 with 34 million granted between those five artists there are nearly 12 diamond albums

Thanks for all the numbers for the weeks digital tracks and Albums. Billboard seem to have stopped publishing the week on week Year To Date total Country Digital Sales and comparisons to 2018. Were the 30% deficits nearly every week getting embarrassing for the Industry? They now share the positive percentage consumption units instead!
