gah Keith's album is nearly 1 1/2 years old and hasn't sold 700,000 copies yet though it's shipped 1,000,00 earning a platinum certification each of his albums since his 1999 self titled debut have done that Ripcord is a return to form of sorts for Keith his two previous albums released in the US 2010's Get Closer and 2013's Fuse didn't reach platinum until earlier this year his highest certified albums are 2004's Be Here at 4 x platinum and 2002's Golden Road at 3 x platinum while for example pop Group N'sync's first 2 albums each sold 10 million copies or more reaching Diamond status 2000's No Strings Attached debuted with sales of 2.415.859 copies it's first week that spring and became the biggest selling album in a single calendar year with 9.936 million copies sold in it's first 9 months on shelves that first week sales record stood for more than 15 years until Adele's 2015 album 25 broke it with 3.377,885 physical sales and 104,115 streams of her single Hello added due to it being the only song from the album available for streaming
