Bobby Bones' Band The Raging Idiots Inks Record Deal

Popular musical comedy act signs to Black River Entertainment to release albums.

The Raging Idiots, comprised of radio personality Bobby Bones and Producer Eddie, have signed a record deal with Black River Entertainment. The relationship between the duo and Black River Entertainment began back in August of 2013. New to Nashville, The Raging Idiots recorded their charity album benefitting 30Abes, Charity Hilarity, in Black River Entertainment’s Ronnie’s Place Studio.

“It’s the best fit. Black River is such a creative place to be,” says Bones. “We did our first charity album here and Black River gave us the studios for free. It was just, ‘Here use the studio, do good and also be funny.’ “We still want to do good and we still want to be funny. It started so great, so we figured let’s go along for the ride, together.”

Bobby and Eddie’s history dates back more than 10 years originating from their working together in television, on stage, and ultimately now radio. Throughout that time, Bobby and Eddie would collaborate on funny songs, often playing them on the air. In 2013, after the Bobby Bones Show moved to Nashville they were asked to perform at a charity event resulting in the first official public performance as The Raging Idiots. Soon after, The Raging Idiots decided to do one more one show for charity in Wichita, KS. When that show sold over 3,000 tickets it only increased their drive to continue to use humor and music to help communities. Since then, The Raging Idiots have performed nearly 40 charity shows and have raised more than $800,000 all benefitting local animal charities.
