Like Colt Ford and other country music trailblazers, Moonshine Bandits have been making music that appeals to a whole mass of people but isn’t always “mainstream.” In fact, Moonshine Bandits have thrived in this environment and continue to make strong recordings with a bunch of adoring fans (known as Shiners) along for the ride. We’re excited to have partnered with the duo to showcase “Chasing Ghosts” from their new album (out Friday, July 14 ), Pour Decisions. The song is really strong and suggests that Big Tex and Bird are still at the top of their game. Pour Decisions features collaborations with Demun Jones, Brandon Hartt, Krizz Kaliko, Madchild and a rock mashup with Buckcherry amongst the 15 track album from the country/rap icons.

*Our album inspiration comes from our own personal life lessons, but a lot of our material also comes from our shiner family that we meet at our shows and the stories they share. Inspiration also gets drawn from our lives we have lived on the road.
QUOTE ABOUT CHASING GHOSTS FROM BIRD:
"Chasing Ghosts" is a song that was inspired initially about my grandfather and the life that he lived traveling around the world as a preacher later in his life. Me and Dusty find ourselves in a similar situation where we are able to travel all around the country and parts of the world spreading the Moonshine Bandits message. My grandfather was my hero and I think he would be proud of what we, the Moonshine Bandits have accomplished the date!
