Set to release his third album A Life Well Lived in the coming months, Daryl Mosley has an astute blend of country and bluegrass sounds with the title track and lead single, "A Life Well Lived." It is proof that great story songs with strong messages still resonate when you get an engaging band and singer together as we get here. It leaves us wanting to play the wonderful track over and over again as we anticipate that forthcoming album from Pinecastle Records!
"Rick Lang and I wrote the song," says Daryl Mosley. "The idea came from a meme I saw online that encouraged you to take advice from old men slicing apples and eating them 'right off of the blade'. I have watched older men do that my entire life and I loved the imagery. Rick and I talked about some of the sage advice we had received over the years and was able to get a lot of those things into the song. The song really is about focusing on what really matters in life and leaving a legacy to be proud of."
