After scoring a big Top 10 hit with "Did It For The Girl" while signed with Republic Nashville, Greg Bates never seemed to be able to follow-it up til now, with "Sand," a melodic, earworm of a track that's currently one of the most popular songs on SiriusXM's "The Highway" channel in early 2015.
Take a listen to a song that certainly feels like the kind of laid-back radio-ready hit any artist would love to have but for Bates (who co-wrote it with producer Frank Rogers), certainly must feel happy just to have a song back on the radio, let alone a song like "Sand," which tells a relatable story of a summertime romance and/or first kiss moment from the narrator's youth.
