Mike Ryan - "Wasting No More Whiskey"

Take a listen to "Wasting No More Whiskey," the national single from Mike Ryan's first nationwide release "Bad Reputation" here.

A talented singer/songwriter based in Texas (but signed to Nashville's Sea Gayle Publishing), Mike Ryan's sophomore album Bad Reputation features this single, currently Top 20 on the Texas Music Charts after just nine weeks.

Its a strong single that's as good as anything on the mainstream radio charts and Mike Ryan actually recalls Zac Brown's songwriting and musical instincts when listening to "Wasting No More Whiskey." The song showcases Ryan's ability to weave a story around the loss of a relationship and how he's done wasting any more time, tears and whiskey on the girl.

In a just world, "Wasting No More Whiskey" would be a smash hit on country music's mainstream charts as it'd bring the country/rock/soul he has into the forefront along with Zac Brown Band, Hunter Hayes and other stars who are at least sometimes in that area of the country music world.

I like him, when I heard his song the first time I thougt this is the kind of country music that I like. Although his voice need to be more 'stable', but he has a good future. In his album 'Bad Reputation', I would recommend 'Putting off Telling Me Goodbye' and 'Red Eye Flight'.
