Story behind "Safe" as told by Mallary Hope:
After about a month of dating Ryan I wrote this verse and chorus of a song called "Safe." He was the complete opposite of what I had in a relationship before. After being cheated on and feeling like there was something in me that wasn't good enough for a man to love, Ryan quickly showed me what love actually is. From the get go it was just so easy for us. Like we'd known each other our entire lives.. I just kept telling anyone who asked me how we were doing that I could trust him with my life and that he made me feel safe.. I had a writing appointment that afternoon with this girl who would quickly become one of my good friends. I played what I had for her and she helped build the rest. Now, I'm happy to say that this song will be her new single. I'm so excited for her and this song holds a special place in my happy heart.
