Ray Scott Releases "Ain't Always Thirsty" As Latest Single

The track follows "Drinkin' Beer" to radio stations and soon video channels everywhere.

If you are missing the sound of traditional country music, you are in luck. Ray Scott has released his new single, "Ain't Always Thirsty," which will make you fall in love all over again with his beautiful, deep voice and his flare for delivering traditional country music.

The song is the latest release from his self-titled album, which Scott co-wrote with Mark Stephen Jones.

"It’s a song that was kind of the product of my divorce three years ago," Scott tells Roughstock. "It’s a serious song, kind of a sad song. It’s everything that the radio supposedly won’t play now, but it’s also the type of song that I think a lot of people are missing and would like to hear again. I’m excited about it."

Scott filmed the music video for "Ain't Always Thirsty" last week in Nashville. The video is expected to make its premiere in the coming weeks. "I feel like it’s one of my best songs ever," says Scott. "I’m anxious to see how people respond to it. So far, the response has been pretty phenomenal. There’s been a lot of buzz about it on Facebook with people sharing it. I’ve got a good feeling about it. If it gets played, it will maybe get noticed."
