Reba McEntire Returns With A New Single

“Going Out Like That” is Queen of Country Music's first new single in 4 years.

It’s been a while since Reba McEntire has been on radio airwaves but that’s changing this week as she premiered “Going Out Like That” on America’s Morning Show this morning and showcased the fiery uptempo tune.

“When you listen to thousands of songs trying to find just the right one to record, a really great song jumps out at you. That's exactly what ‘Going Out Like That’ did to me. It jumped out because it's a great song with up-tempo sassiness!!! The first time I heard it, a man was singing the demo. When I sang it coming from a female perspective, it became a woman's power anthem. Sure hope you like it,” revealed Reba to fans recently on Twitter.

Written by Ben Hayslip, Rhett Akins and Jason Sellers, “Going Out Like That” was originally written with a male singer in mind but after tweaking the lyrics a little bit, the superstar went into the studio with long-time producer Tony Brown. The song delivers Reba’s signature sound yet remains a fresh and radio-ready tune. The song is the lead single from Reba’s upcoming debut with Nash Icon Records. The album is scheduled for April and will feature producer James Stroud on numerous tracks. This is the first time the iconic vocalist and equally iconic producer have worked together on a project.

Reba will join Kix Brooks & Ronnie Dunn in June for the launch of Reba, Brooks & Dunn: Together In Vegas, a one-of-a-kind country music residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

You can now purchase "Going Out Like That" on iTunes.
