Ray Scott Signs With Flying Island Entertainment

Known for his Neo-Traditionalist brand of Country Music, Ray Scott today announced that he has signed a new deal with Flying Island Entertainment, the label which is also home to The Voice's Gwen Sebastian and Ty Herndon. Read on here to learn more about the new deal and Ray's hit "Those Jeans."

The label - which is home to Gwen Sebastian and Ty Herndon in addition to also working with Terri Clark, Bucky Covington, BJ Thomas and Shooter Jennings - is a good fit for the neo-traditionalist Scott.

Sheila Shipley Biddy stated, "As long as Ray Scott is writing songs and singing Country Music, I am proud to say that Real Country Music is NOT dead. By the ration of listeners nationwide to his latest endeavor, I'd say they are still in love with Real Country Music from Ray Scott. All of us are proud to welcome Ray to The Island."

"Those Jeans" has sold 39,000 digital singles to date, placing it on SoundScan's Digital Country Singles Chart alongside hits from the likes of Brad Paisley and Zac Brown Band.

Scott's most-recent album Rayality features "Those Jeans" and was produced by Dave Brainard, Jerrod Niemann's co-producer for both of his Sony Nashvile recordings.
