Kane Brown Launches New Record Label; Signs Restless Road

Restless Road’s First Single via 1021 Entertainment/Sony Music Nashville is “Took One Look At Her Momma.”

Restless Road, who have been working hard behind the mainstream scene in Nashville, today signed with 1021 Entertainment, a new worldwide joint venture between Kane Brown and Sony Music Nashville. The trio, who are Zach Beeken, Colton Pack and Garrett Nichols, wrote their first single “Took One Look At Her Momma” with #1 hit writer/producers Lindsay Rimes and Andy Albert.

“We are excited to welcome Restless Road to the Sony Music Nashville roster. Colton, Zach, and Garrett each bring undeniable talent, dedication, and innovation to this trio. It has also been rewarding to collaborate on this project with Kane and watch him mentor and advise as a label partner in ways only a superstar artist can,” said Margaret Tomlin, Sony Music Nashville Director, A&R.

"I want to give people chances to succeed. With 1021 Entertainment, I feel like we have a platform and team that can mentor and build up talent in country music. With my own label, I want to use it as an opportunity to shape and promote artists that may not have gotten a chance otherwise, for Restless Road and others in the future," said Brown.

Restless Road, who signed with Sony/ATV this past winter have previously released a self-titled EP that was produced by Dann Huff and Lindsay Rimes.

Brown, who has served as an official mentor on NBC’s hit program The Voice last year, has a history of supporting and helping newer talent behind the scenes. One of the most-popular stars in modern country music, Brown has scored a handful of hits from multi-platinum self-titled debut album, his platinum Experiment and the most recent release, Mixtape, Vol 1. He has two 6x Platinum hits in “Heaven” and “What ifs,” the latter feat placing him in the rare crowd in country music with the likes of Taylor Swift and Luke Bryan.

Restless Road will release more music well into 2021.
