Florida Georgia Line's duet with Bebe Rexha, "Meant To Be" leads our tally this week with sales approaching Gold status as the mult-format radio hit (FGL sings lead the verse on the country version and Bebe Rexha sings the lead verse on the pop version) and it may not be a "country" song in the traditional sense but very few songs seemingly are (sonically) these days. Anyway, that keeps Sam Hunt's "Body Like A Backroad" fromt he #1 spot on the chart this week. Thomas Rhett's "Marry Me," sits at #3 while Kane Brown's two latest hits, the current "Heaven" and the previous #1 "What If's" (featuring school classmate Lauren Alaina).
New(er) artists seemed to run the charts towards the end of 2017 and the rest of the Top 10 proves this with LANCO, Walker Hayes, Chris Stapleton, Scotty McCreery, Brett Young all sitting inside the Top 10. In fact, until you reach Keith Urban at #16 (with "Female"), the songs are all from artists who weren't on this chart four years ago.
