Filmed by Sara Krauss Photography, the photos you see below represent some of the scenes featured in Sarah Darling’s new music video “When Cowboys Ride.” Rather than have us describe the video, we’ve gotten a quote below from Sarah Darling about the shoot in Dubois, Wyoming. The video was filmed in partnership with the Wyoming Office of Tourism and Sarah’s album can be purchased/pre-ordered here! (Photos after the quote!)

When I wrote "Where Cowboys Ride”, I had only dreamed about actually being able to shoot it where I drew my inspiration for the track. Several years ago I played a rodeo in Wyoming, and was absolutely taken by the beauty. It's such a magical place, and you are immediately transported back to the old West. It's a nostalgia I long for and I think others do too. I ended up writing it with a good friend of mine Zach Runquist who loves Wyoming just as much as me. I sent the track to the Wyoming Tourism board sharing my love letter for their state, and now we have partnered up together.
From the moment the crew stepped off of the plane it was a dream come true. We had two days of the bluest skies which I had prayed for. I worked with director Benjamin Kutsko on the project. He had arrived a few days before me scouting gorgeous locations that really painted the picture of golden fields and wide open skies that I sing about. We started in Dubois, Wyoming. It was like something out of movie, and it's hard to describe in words how beautiful it was. The landscapes are majestic everywhere you turn, like being in a postcard.
The greatest part of the entire shoot was the beautiful people I met. I had two real cowboys in my music video, Sky and Tyler. They were stars of the show for me personally. It's a memory I will keep in my mind forever.
