As further evidence about the strength of female artists currently signed to record labels big and small (or wholly independent), Rainey Qualley delivers a stunning debut single to radio in "Me And Johnny Cash." The production is snappy, the vocals are downright top notch (recalling Lorrie Morgan in all the best of ways) and the songwriting from Rainey and her co-writers is on point too.
There's a progressive thump to this single that suggests that country radio and video channels should wanna play the song as it's as good if not better than most of the stuff coming out from new and veteran male artists alike.
