Blake Shelton (Feat. Ashley Monroe) - "Lonely Tonight"

Blake Shelton features friend and vocalist Ashley Monroe on this second single from "Bringing Back The Sunshine."

Set to be performed on the 48th Annual CMA Awards telecast, "Lonely Tonight" looks set to become Blake Shelton's sophomore single from Bringing Back The Sunshine. The Brent Anderson and Ryan Hurd-penned song features Ashley Monroe (a Warner Music Nashville label mate) with a stunning vocal spot that adds to "Lonely Tonight" and makes it feel not unlike Tim McGraw's "Highway Don't Care" in how the female vocalist (in that case, Taylor Swift) is deployed in the song's chorus of the song.

This one should easily follow-up "Neon Light" as a #1 hit for the on-fire The Voice coach. It's right in his musical pocket with a song about a lonely former couple needing something more than being alone for one night. Scott Hendricks' production accentuates Blake Shelton's vocal and clearly makes the song one of the standouts on Bringing Back The Sunshine
