With "Four Letter Word," newcomer Zach Stone is ready to break out into the big leagues of mainstream country music. With its engaging melody and lyric, "Four Letter Word" finds Zach Stone passionately discusses matters of the heart after a break up. This music video accurately describes the emotion held within the song which recalls some of the best songs from artists like Dierks Bentley and Jerrod Niemann.
About the writing of "Four Letter Word":
"I had the idea of taking classic four-letter words–especially those words you don't like to hear when they're in a relationship (like ‘wait,’ ‘stop,’ ‘hurt,’ ‘don't’ and ‘stay’)–and using them to create a love song," said singer/songwriter Zach Stone. "I brought it to Will (Stone), who is one of my all-time favorite writers, and he really helped me to lock the pieces together to make for a fluent, meaningful and emotional storyline. The lyrics speak for themselves; my favorite line is "there's nothing left between ‘I’ and ‘U’ except ‘Don’t’ and ‘Need’,"; added Stone.
The song was produced in the recording studio by Sam Martinez and the video was directed by Randy Shaffer.
