Marcus King Band - "Ain't Nothin' Wrong With That"

Take a listen to this Roots Music Friday showcase of the newcomer from South Carolina's expansive roots music.

We love to have fun tracks from time to time and Marcus King Band's "Ain't Nothing Wrong With That" is one such song.

The Marcus King Band is fronted by the 20 year old singer/songwriter/guitarist and he learned blues and rock music from his father, Marvin King. Working with icons Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks, Marcus King Band released the self-titled The Marcus King Band album via Fantasy Records last month. This track is from that album.

We hope you enjoy this slice of American music and see how roots music can sound diverse and fun all at the same time.

Outside the rain was fallin' all around Won't you roll my windows up for me? Didn't wanna wake me from the slumber I was in Instead you just let me be Ain't nothing wrong with that Ain't nothing wrong Ain't nothing wrong with that, baby Ain't nothing wrong Then I later rose to the sound of music in the air Your voice singing me a melody so sweet Kissed your lips as you sailed away through my tears Step out, let the rain fall on me Ain't nothing wrong with that Ain't nothing wrong Ain't nothing wrong with that, baby Ain't nothing wrong I wanna be back in that moment Feel the joy that I felt right there Tell me you remember that moment Tell me that you still care
