Since we know she's not that known to y'all here in the USA We thought we'd give you a little background on the talented singer/songwriter.
Kirsty Lee Akers has released four studio albums since the age of 18 and all reached the Top 10 of the ARIA charts. Her most recent Australian release, Burn Baby Burn, hit #1 on the chart as the #1 Australian album. Over the course of her career Kirsty Lee Akers has released 13 music videos and has had success with them all, especially the 10 which hit the Top 10 on Country Music Channel (CMC) in Australia. Her 2016 videos for singles “When I Miss You The Most” and “Burn Baby Burn” both hit #1 on the chart.
In addition to her video and album success, Kirsty Lee Akers has scored 10 Top 10 singles and two Number 1 singles in Australia. The singer/songwriter has co-written songs with Byron Hill, Trey Bruce, Jerry Salley, Jeremy Spillman and Tia Sellers just to name a few.
