Aubrie Sellers - "Sit Here & Cry"

Get ready y’all. Aubrie Sellers is set to release her debut single to country radio via her new record deal with Warner Bros. Nashville.

After opening up 2016 by releasing New City Blues via Carnival Recording Company and Thirty Tigers, Aubrie Sellers — the daughter of hit songwriter Jason Sellers and country superstar Lee Ann Womack — is set to not only re-issue the album in late September via her new record label Warner Bros Records but she’s set to release this rollicking story song which has strong echoes of early Miranda Lambert. That comparison is an apt one for Aubrie as she’s unafraid to rock out like she does on “Sit Here and Cry” and with that she’s certainly positioned well to have radio pay more attention to her music than just hipster journalists and tastemakers.

Fans looking for something different than what they’re used to should check out “Sit Here & Cry.” With a rollicking, rocking melody and a lyric that’s as country as cornbread as are the moments when it’s obvious that Aubrie is the product of her famous parents. That being said, this song is clearly Aubrie’s to deliver and it’s a delicious debut.
