A song with a clever title that gets you paying attention, "Drinkin' Town" is most certainly a lyrical gem and a surprise release from Billy Currington given his recent radio singles have been more in line with the R&B-tinged music he makes. While that's here a little bit, the song lends itself mostly to what it's about, a country song about a country town where life revolves around the local high school football team.
It should be another solid hit for Currington and something that will become an anthem for small town southern towns everywhere.
