Country music icons Lonestar released a new album called Life As We Know It last year and have scored a few hits with songs like "Maybe Someday" and "Just The Rain" and are back with this single as their new single from the project. Produced by the band, the song is perhaps the best single the band has released from the album (and that says a lot considering how good "Maybe Someday" and "Just The Rain" were). The lyrics for the song, which was written by lead vocalist Richie McDonald, Marv Green and Tommy Lee James), showcases Lonestar as we've all loved them with a hint of the past with the contemporary flair for the present that they've always seemed to have. "Pretty Good Day" is an uplifting song and something that could very well be a big hit for the quartet. It certainly deserves to be.
