What A Shame

Coming seemingly out of nowhere, Decca Records' One Flew South released this song as their debut single earlier in the year.  While barely a Top 50 single, this song still was Rougshtock's 24th most favorite singles of 2008.  

A popular live act around Texas, Hayes Carll moved from the independent ranks to major label status with his "Trouble In Mind" album on Lost Highway Records.  This single was his first release from the album and it certanly is worthy of being one of the year's best.
