Need You Now

Lady Antebellum defied all expectations last week by delivering nearly a Gold album in one week of sales for Need You Now. Did the trio keep #1 away from the new release from Rapper Lil’ Wayne or Nick Joans (and his new band)? Let's find out.

The trio, who stormed on the country charts in 2008 and ended up moving 1.5 million copies of their self-titled debut album, have now moved onto their sophomore album, named after their 5-week #1 hit "Need You Now." 

With this record, Lady Antebellum has set their sights on superstardom.  Does the album, which already has a smash hit in the title track, have enough to propel the group to international superstardom or will it ultimately fail them?

With "Need You Now" already having held down the top spot on the country singles charts for a month, Lady Antebellum has set themsleves up quite nicely for the this follow-up single from Need You Now.  Does this single have what it takes to be a big hit too?
