Country Radio Chart Report: Tuesday March 19, 2013 – Carrie Undrwood Scores 17th #1 hit with “Two Black Cadillacs

It’s a remarkable streak, a streak that could have her contending with George Strait’s 59 #1 hits one day. Since 2005, Carrie Underwood has scored 17 #1 hits on the Country Radio charts. Read on here to learn more about today’s feat and to see the rest of the Top 10!

By topping the charts this week, Underwood’s grand total of No. 1′s reaches a total of 17. Previous hits that have gone all the way for the singer include “Cowboy Casanova,” “Last Name,” “All American Girl,” “So Small” and of course, “Jesus, Take the Wheel.”

Over on Billboard’s Country Airplay Chart, Blake Shelton scored the #1 hit for “Sure Be Cool If You Did.” It’s his 13th #1 hit on that chart and his 8th in a row.
