Carly Pearce Announces Highly-Anticipated Fourth Studio Album,“hummingbird;” Out June 14

The 14 track album features Grammy-nominated, Top 20-and-rising single “we don’t fight anymore” (featuring Chris Stapleton) and a handful of preview tracks, including the just-issued title track.

The Grammy, CMA and ACM Award-winning singer/songwriter Carly Pearce has today announced her fourth studio album, Hummingbird, with a scheduled release date of June 14, 2024 via Big Machine Records. To celebrate the announcement, the album’s title track “hummingbird” was sent to all digital streamers along with pre-save and pre-order details.

Produced by Pearce, Shane McAnally, and Josh Osborne, Hummingbird marks her debut as a co-producer and fully represents her new musical chapter, one of forward motion.

When discussing her inspirations for the album, Pearce says, “I have lived a lot of life in the least few years. Entering a new decade (of her life) has brought a lot of maturity, growth, heartache, and healing. I am still a work in progress, but these songs represent my honesty, playfulness and openness to keep growing.”

Following the success of her last studio album 29: Written In Stone, Pearce has fully leaned into her authentic country sound with the symbolism of the hummingbird repressing the album’s themes of growth, humility, understanding, playfulness, and optimism.

When talking about the album’s title track, Pearce says “When I wrote this song, I knew I wanted this to be the title of the album. Th is song plays on my bluegrass roots but also lyrically tells the story of the journey I am on of finding love. This is the most unapologetically ‘Carly’ song I’ve ever written.”
