Brandy Clark Releases “Dear Insecurity (“Live From The Gorge)”

The singer/songwriter shares a stunning live performance of the twice-nominated for a Grammy Single.

With six Grammy nominations for the upcoming 66th Annual Grammy Awards, Brandy Clark has been riding a wave of artistic notoriety throughout 2023 that includes her critically-acclaimed self-titled Warner Records album release and writing a Tony-winning Broadway production in Shucked. That self-titled album, her fourth, was produced by her friend and fellow Grammy standout Brandi Carlile who performed on “Dear Insecurity” with Brandy, both in studio and in this newly-released version from their performance at the Gorge Amptheater in George, Washington. The performance happened during Carlile’s Echoes Through The Canyon” weekend at the iconic venue.

This hallmark year includes those six Grammy nominations for Best Americana Album (Brandy Clark), Best Americana Performance (“Dear Insecurity” Featuring Brandi Carlile), Best American Roots Song (“Dear Insecurity”), Best Country Song (“Buried”), Best Country Solo Performance (“Buried”) and Best Musical Theater Album (Shucked). She has received 17 Grammy nominations to date.

One of the most-respected songwriters of her generation, Brandy Clark has co-written tracks like “Follow Your Arrow” and “A Beautiful Noise” along with her four albums and the Tony-winning musical Shucked, with her longtime friend and collaborator, Shane McAnally.
