Mike Ryan’s “Loser” Scores Top 10 Status on Texas Country Radio Charts

The Track from “Longcut” showcases why Ryan’s an artist on the rise.

He’s been building his career song by song and it’s a tactic that has worked for Mike Ryan as his latest single “Loser” continues to rise up both Country and Texas Country radio charts, where it’s Top 10 on the CDX True Indie and Texas Regional Radio charts.

In addition to the single’s radio success, “Loser” was addded to the 24 hour music channel CMT Music. Fans can vote for the video to be included on the CMT 12 Pack Countdown, a weekly, fan-voted show that airs on the channel and premieres every Friday evening. “Loser”’s music video was directed by Natalie Rhea and filmed at De Nada Cantina and the Barton Creek Greenbelt in Austin, Texas.

“Loser” is the last track to be released off of Mike Ryan’s newest album Longcut. Working with Ryan Gore and Bart Butler (Jon Pardi) as producers, Ryan has marked a decade in building that career independently with songs that have accumulated over 320 million streams to date.

Mike Ryan has co-written songs for Brad Paisley, Brandy Clark, and, indeed, Longcut includes co-writers like Hillary Lindsey, Phil Vassar, Josh Thompson and Clark, among others. He’s also toured with the likes of Hardy, Morgan Wallen and Miranda Lambert in addition to his own gigs and a string of dates opening up for Jordan Davis this fall.
