Andrew Jannakos Returns With New Single “Heaven’s Like A Home Town”

The rising RCA Nashville artist’s single is his first new song released since the “Gone Too Soon” EP was released last year.

When you’re from a town with a name like Flowery Branch like Andrew Jannakos is, it is quite natural to write a song like “Heaven’s Like A Hometown.” The song is the kind of song that being raised in a small town neighborhood where everyone interacted with each other in harmony. It is that sense of harmony which informs Jannakos’ new single.

“Heaven’s Like A Hometown” is a song about hoping all of your favorite people and things from your hometown are in Heaven when you get there. (Things) like Friday night football, fishing at my honey holes with my Grandpa who has passed, and going to the Texaco with my buddies,” Jannakos said.

Co-written by Jannakos alongside Eric Aries, Matthew McGinn, and Jordan Minton, the song is the first new music from the artist since releasing his Gone Too Soon EP which released last year. The title track of the EP has amassed over 85 million on-demand streams today and earned a #1 debut on Billboard’s Emerging Artists Chart while the track landed at #12 at Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and within the Hot 100 songs, the tally of America’s most-loved songs for any given week.
