Cody Johnson celebrates RIAA Certifications For “‘Til You Can’t” and “Dear Rodeo”

Modern country traditionalist scores latest hardware for his successful singles while celebrating his very first radio chart-topping hit in Nashville.

At a recent #1 party for the breakout smash “‘Til You Can’t,” Cody Johnson was surprised with RIAA certifications for both that single and “Dear Rodeo.”  Both were certified GOLD by the RIAA with “‘Til You Can’t” achieving Platinum certification as well.

“‘Til You Can’t” became Cody Johnson’s first Top 10 and #1 single at country radio and it’s become the biggest hit of 2021/2022 to date as it stayed at #1 for two weeks and has been streamed over 330 million times to date globally. The song served as the lead single from Cody’s sophomore major label release (8th overall) in Human: The Double Album. It’s also approaching Double Platinum status as it’s nearly at two million US track equivalents (the metric which makes Gold, Platinum and beyond) to date.

“Dear Rodeo,” The Top 40 radio hit and final single from Cody’s major label debut for Warner Music Nashville, Ain’t Nothin’ To It, has over 125M streams to date and has over 750,000 track equivalents to date. The track was later joined as a duet by Reba McEntire, herself a former Rodeo star, just like Cody Johnson.

Cody Johnson resumes touring this weekend with headline dates in Ohio and Illinois and will be a special guest at the Zac Brown Band’s show in Boston’s Fenway Park and in Atlanta with Luke Combs at Mercedes-Benz Stadium as well.

Cody’s current single at country radio is the title track to Human: The Double Album, “Human.”
