Jon Brennan Back With New Music; On "The Real World" Again

MTV's The Real World reality star and country music singer, Jon Brennan, released his brand new EP titled "I Ain't Done Singin' Yet" on Tuesday, November 9th. The project will be available for purchase through his official website,, as well as all digital platforms, including Pandora, Spotify, Apple Music and iTunes.

Brennan penned a majority of the EP, including the self-explanatory title track "I Ain't Done Singin' Yet," "Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky" based around where he's spent much of his life and career, and the poignant "I Just Stood There," detailing the moment he was able to stand inside the historic circle of the Grand Ole Opry as a spectator. Releasing new music has consistently been in the forefront of Brennan's mind over the years, frequently visiting Nashville to keep his foot inside the industry he holds near and dear to his heart.

"I'm proud of the fact that these are pretty good songs," says Brennan of his new music. "They are not the new 'bro country,' but it's also not what I would call traditional country; to me, it's what country music was in the 90s that I really enjoyed. It's a good representation of who I think I am as an artist."

The compilation of songs coincides with the upcoming premiere of The Real World Homecoming: Los Angeles, which reunites Brennan with his roommates in the same household. The first episode will begin streaming on Paramount+ starting Wednesday, November 24, 2021.

"Being back on reality television on The Real World was very nostalgic and energizing," he says. "What's really strange is that it felt normal being in front of cameras again ... and that's not normal! I love the concept of The Real World and certainly think that I bring a unique perspective to the diversity of the cast. I’m very proud to have been a part the show back when it started and to have the opportunity to be a part of it all over again. It has been two of the most valuable experiences of my life."

Brennan's love for singing started as far back as a kid, often singing in his room at 6-years-old. His parents encouraged his passion for singing by getting him involved with talent shows and performing in front of crowds as much as possible locally, growing up in Owensboro, KY.

Through encouragement from his peers in school, Brennan took his singing to the next level fresh out of high school when he enrolled in Nashville's Belmont University where so many country music greats got their start in launching successful music careers. During his first semester, Brennan received a call from MTV to be cast in the second season of their new "reality television" concept, The Real World.

In the recent years, Brennan has been heavily involved with numerous churches throughout the South where he has served as a youth minister, allowing him to also serve as a missionary in Uganda.
