Lainey Wilson Scores #1 Single with “Things A Man Oughta Know”

Rising star is the new first female country artist to achieve the feat since Gabby Barrett with “I Hope” in April of 2020.

It’s been a whirlwind of a year for BBR Music Group’s rising superstar Lainey Wilson. This week her delightful single “Things A Man Oughta Know” officially hits #1 on both the Mediabase and Billboard country radio Charts.

With over 146 million on-demand streams to date, “Things A Man Oughta Know” has also been in the Top 10 of country music singles sales for several weeks with the single also scoring internationally, including the UK and Canada where it’s certified Gold and a Top 5 hit in the latter country. The song, written by Lainey with Jonathan Singleton and Jason Nix, is from her label debut Sayin’ What I’m Thinking’.”
