Fresh on the heels of the chart-topping, RIAA-Certified Platinum success of “Good Time,” rising singer-songwriter Niko Moon has set the date for the release of his debut album which smartly will also be called Good Time. The album will be released on August 27 and features 14 songs, all of which were co-written by Niko Moon, save for the closer “It’s A Great Day To Be Alive,” a cover of the classic Darrell Scott song.
The album, which was co-produced by Moon and his longtime collaborator Joshua Murty, also features the new single “No Sad Songs” and preview single “Small Town State of Mind.”
“My debut album Good Time is almost here!” said Moon. “I’ve poured my heart and soul into making this record and I can’t wait for y’all to hear it! The album is Good Time vibes front to back so put it on, grab a cold one and turn it up to 10!”
The album features a blend of moods and sounds, a place where banjos and beats co-exist in the same place as rock guitars and twangy country rhythms.
“Good Time” isn’t the first time you heard his music on the radio either as Niko Moon’s collaborations with Zac Brown Band (“Homegrown,” “Loving You Easy” “Beautiful Drug,” “Keep Me In Mind”) and Dierks Bentley’s “Gone.”
