Zac Brown Band Signs To Warner Music Nashville, Announces New Single “Same Boat”

First new music under the new record label deal will hit DSPs this Friday, June 11.

Returning to the Warner Music Group where the band issued most of their biggest hits, the Zac Brown Band is set to release their first single via Home Grown/Warner Music Nashville to All Digital formats on Friday, June 11, 2021.

The single, a song which was written by Zac Brown alone Ben Simonetta and Jonathan Singleton is an upbeat, hopeful sing-a-long ready stomper which recalls some of the band’s earlier hits.

"'Same Boat' is really about the human condition," said Zac Brown. "It's about how we all go through the same things, all together. It is a chance to be able to remind people to be positive, be good to each other and show empathy. You don't know what it's like to walk around in someone else's shoes. We're all human beings. Let's spread some love around and show kindness to each other."

The song was recorded at the renowned Southern Ground Nashville studio and features contributions from the entire band, with melodic vocal harmonies, brisk percussion, and the lively violin. This marks the first time that the band was able to reunite safely in the studio to record new music together. “Same Boat” follows the release of Zac Brown Band’s two digital singles released in 2020, “The Man Who Loves You The Most,” which debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Country Digital Song Sales chart, and “You and Islands.”

But as much as the band’s signature sound and tight musicianship comes through loud and clear in their recordings, it’s on the road where they truly shine. The band has headlined seven North American stadium and amphitheater tours and currently holds the record for most consecutive sold-out shows at Fenway Park.

After an unexpected and unprecedented 14-month hiatus from touring due to COVID-19, the upcoming U.S. “The Comeback Tour” will bring the band to some of the nation’s most iconic venues, like Boston’s Fenway Park on August 8 and Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on October 17, with 23 stops along the way.

“We couldn’t be more excited to get back out on the road and share our new music with our fans,” Brown says as the band’s tour preparations are already shifting into high gear. “It’s been a long, difficult year for everyone, and we’re fired up to be reuniting with our crew, get back on tour, and celebrate a brand-new world.”

“Same Boat” will be available on all digital streaming platforms on Friday, June 11.
