Chris Young Releases “If That Ain’t God”

Singer/songwriter’s inspirational new track is a taste of what’s to come from his forthcoming album.

After a few years working on music to follow up the last album, Losing Sleep, Chris Young has just released “If That Ain’t God.” The song, which he wrote with Matt Roy, Mitchell Oglesby and Greylan James was co-produced with hit writer/producer Chris DeStefano. The song speaks to uncertain times and following your faith as a guiding light. The melody is modern while the lyrics allow Young to apply his iconic baritone to the lyrics which at times recall the “footprints” poster in that they call us to remember that we never are truly alone in our path. We always have God.

Fans desire to hear the song inspired Chris Young and his record label to release it as the follow-up to the single “Drowning” and, before it, “Raised On Country.” Young originally was planning to release an album titled Raised On Country but it remains to be seen if he will continue towards that album or come up with a new title thanks to this stellar new single.
