High Valley Announce “Grew Up On That” EP

Hit-making brotherly duo set to release six track collection to DSP’s in Late May, 2020.

With “River’s Still Running” on multiple playlists at digital service providers, High Valley today announced their forthcoming Grew Up On That EP via Atlantic/Warner Music Nashville. The brothers Rempel (Brad and Curtis) did grow up with “Ricky Skaggs on the Vinyl, King James on the Bible,” as the line from the EP title track states. The EP tells of Childhood, family and love (and the tracklist is below).

Set to be released May 22, Grew Up On That's lead single finds the duo looking on the bright side of things and it was co-written by Brad with Randy Montana and Corey Crowder. The song features an uplifting message during difficult times.

“When we wrote this song, we had no idea about the predicament we’d be in right now,” Brad said. “But it’s pretty true that if you can look outside and see the sun still shining, see the river still running… then you know it’s going to be ok. We just have to focus on little pieces of positivity every single day.” Curtis took to social media on Friday to connect with fans about “River’s Still Running” and more new music.

The EP’s second available track is “Your Mama,” a song which is the only one not penned by Brad Rempel on the project. Ben West, Josh Miller, Troy Verges and Tyler Hubbard of FGL co-wrote the track and it is a message from a parent to a child and pays tribute to the duo’s better halves. They shot a music video for “Your Mama” and it was filmed at Brad’s home outside of Nashville and directed by Missy Higgins.

These songs follow-up the duo’s well-received Dear Life album which produced the fan favorite Top 30 hit “Make You Mine” and the Top 10 radio hit “She’s With Me.” Both of those tracks have been certified Gold by the RIAA. Grew Up On That EP will hit DSP's on May 22, 2020.
