Parmalee Release New Single "Be Alright" To Radio

The single will impact country radio on Monday, July 29. See why the quartet decided to record the popular tune.

After a short hiatus, Parmalee is back with their new single “Be Alright.” The vibrant song showcases Parmalee’s tight harmonies and work with singer/songwriter David Fanning, who produced the track at Legends Studio in Nashville. The song, , which was a pop chart hit worldwide for it’s songwriter Dean Lewis, follows the wake of an emotional breakup and the complicated feelings it brings.

“The second we heard this song, we knew we had to record it—it immediately tugged on our heartstrings and just placed us in that guys shoes, which is a tough place to be,” said Matt Thomas. “We really enjoyed getting into the studio, playing around with it and really making it our own while keeping that raw emotion of the song.”

Since recording the single earlier this year, it has become a big hit with the band’s fans at their energetic concerts nationwide. The band, which features vocalist Matt Thomas, drummer Scott Thomas , bassist Barry Knox and Josh McSwain on lead guitar, formed in 2001 and built a loyal following through hard touring and solid songwriting, including three Top 10 hits (including breakout Platinum #1 hit “Carolina”).

“Be Alright” is the lead single from what should be the band’s third album for Stoney Creek Records. Look for more news on that front in the coming months.
