Top 10 Country Album Sales Chart: March 27, 2018

Scotty McCreery dominates the charts this week with his new album "Seasons Change!"

With nearly 35,000 albums scanned (and over 41,000 in total consumption), Scotty McCreery owns the Top 30 charts this week with his fantastic new album Seasons Change. The album is his first for Thirty Tigers and fourth #1 album overall. Chris Stapleton's two From A Room volumes sit at #2 and #3, respectively. #4 finds rural rapper Adam Calhoun's self-issued AmerAcal sitting at #4. AmerAcal album features guests including Upchurch and Demun Jones. Rounding out the Top 5 is Kid Rock's Sweet Southern Soul. He's now scanned over 145,000 copies of his first project released through Broken Bow Records & BMG.

At #6 is Stapleton's first solo album, Traveller. Nearly three years since being released and the album continues to sit inside the Top 10 in country music. At #7 sits Luke Bryan's latest album, What Makes You Country. Ther album has scanned over 250,000 units to date. At #8 is Kane Brown's Gold-certified (with sales + streaming factored in) self-titled debut for RCA Nashville.  Alan Jackson's two disc compilation of his Precious Memories set (always an Easter time favorite) sits at #9 with sales now over 206k (which is easily enough to certify the dual disc set on its own accord when streaming #s are factored in). Blake Shelton's Texoma Shore rounds out the Top 10 and it has sold 211k to date.

Notable debuts include The Oak Ridge Boys, Shenandoah, Nahville Star alum Coffey Anderson, Lindi Ortega and Morgan Wallen, among others. See the entire chart below!

@Luke I know Carrie Underwood's storyteller album is certified platinum as it was on October 24th 2016 a year after it's release some of these albums aren't doing that badly considering the music climate of recent years the three highest certified female country debuts of all time are Carrie Underwood's Some Hearts 8 x platinum Taylor Swift's Taylor Swift both 7 times platinum and Leann Rimes Blue 6 x platinum respectively there are currently 92 albums certified Diamond for sales of10 million or more copies and there are several that are close to reaching that feat including Taylor's 1989 Whitney Houston's Whitney Journey's Escape Mariah Carey's Mariah Carey etc
