During their performance of the Dublin, Ireland portion of the C2C Festival, Tim McGraw had just finished singing “Humble & Kind” when he dropped to his knees and then sat down. After being carried off by medical representatives, the stunned crowd was addressed by McGraw’s wife Faith Hill.
After saying it was her decision to end his performance, she said, “He’s been super dehydrated. I apologize, but I made the decision that he cannot come back out onstage.”
The C2C representatives for the festival said in a statement: Tim McGraw was suffering from dehydration at the C2C show. He was attended to by local medical staff on-site and will be fine. Tim and Faith thank everyone for their love and support and look forward to seeing their Irish fans again soon.”
McGraw had performed the previous two nights as part of C2C, a three day, 3 city country music festival.
