Top 30 Digital Singles Sales Report: January 3, 2017

Gift card usage was flowing again in this post-Christmas holiday week as every single on the chart gained in sales this week and over 88% sales increase over last week. That is a nice way to start the week for country music with Keith Urban's "Blue Ain't Your Color" having sales over 660k while Florida Georgia Line's song with Tim McGraw "May We All" sits at #2 with 448k scanned. Little Big Town's "Girl Crush" is at #3 with sales of over 2.3 million songs purchased while Brett Young -- the newest artist in the Top 5 -- is at #4 with "Sleep Without You," his first #1 radio airplay hit. It has scanned 343k to date while Jon Pardi's newest hit "Dirt On My Boots" is at #5 with sales now at 191k.

Top 10 Notes

Little Big Town's "Better Man" is at #6 and leads the artists on this chart with two Top 10 singles and is followed by Florida Georgia Line's "H.O.L.Y." LBT has sold 283k singles to date while FGL is at nearly 1.4 million. Michael Ray's "Think A Little Less" is up to #8 with sales of 96k to date (it was on sale for .69¢ at iTunes) while Thomas Rhett's "Star Of The Show" is at #9 with sales of 148k to date. Rounding out the Top 10 is Brett Eldredge's "Wanna Be That Song" with sales at an even 300k to date.

Notable Track Notes

Carrie Underwood's "Dirty Laundry" and "Church Bells" are both on this chart as are a pair of songs from Chris Stapleton ("Parachute," "Tennesse Whiskey") and Maren Morris ("80's Mercedes," "My Church"). Other artists with notables include Tim McGraw, Cole Swindell, High Valley, Old Dominion, Luke Combs and Billy Currington.
