Country Albums Chart Report: November 29, 2016

The pictured icons Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood have two of this week's Top 15 best-sellers and if the Box Set qualified, they'd have three. See the entire rundown here!

Miranda Lambert's The Weight Of These Wings is this week's top-selling album (third all-genre) with nearly 122k albums scanned (sales+streaming was nearly 133k). Sitting at #2 is Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood's Christmas Together. The album actually sold more in its second week on this chart than the previous week and has scanned 60k to date. The project actually shoudl be nearly 67k when you add the CD and the new Garth Gunslinger holiday 2 pack lands at #14 (it likely was sold early on Thanksgiving when it should've been held back til Friday when Gunslinger came out -- That one also had 1k in individual sales this week). George Strait's Strait Out of the Box...Part 2 debuts at #3 with sales of 21k. Chris Stapleton's Traveller is at #4 again this week with sales of 13k plus added to his tally. Florida Georgia Line's Dig Your Roots rounds up the Top 5.

Miranda has the #1 album and you put a pic of Garth & Trisha? Also wondering what this year's debut album #s look like. Miranda, Aldean, Blake have over 100,000 any others? PS ❤️ The Weight of these Wings. Pretty impressive sales w/ no press, only 2 tv spots(Fallon/CBS Thanksgiving, $16 price no drastic sales cuts( like some did w/ $5.99), and no radio single support (they dropped Vice even though it sold). Glad for Lambert.
