With singers like Mo Pitney and William Michael Morgan finding success on the charts with traditional country flavors, the timing is ripe for Shane Owens new single “Country Never Goes Out Of Style.” Written by Patrick Jason Matthews, Galen Griffin and Kerry Kurt Phillips, the song reminds us of all the great things that remain in style, even when trends and things change around them.
Country music, with traditional sounds of fiddles, steel guitars and twangy telecasters, is just like the things mentioned in Shane Owen’s fine single is only matched by Shane Owens fantastic vocal. This is a sound that is warm and welcoming and exactly the sound that’s been missing from a majority of country radio stations. But, with the two artists mentioned above attaining success, they’ve opened the doors — again — to artists like Shane and he’s now approaching the Top 40 with this fantastic country song.
