Top 30 Digital Singles Sales Report: November 1, 2016

For the second week in a row, out of 16 weeks on the chart so far, Keith Urban's "Blue Ain't Your Color" holds down the top spot of the Top 30 Digital Singles chart with sales of 327k to date. It's his fourth single from Ripcord and looks to join the other three ("Break On Me," "John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16" & "Wasted Time") as a RIAA-certified chart-topping hit. Kenny Chesney's "Setting The World On Fire" features pop/rock star P!NK and has scored the #2 slot with download sales approaching 500k. It sits at the top of the Radio Airplay charts for a second week this week. Sitting at #3 is Florida Georgia Line's second hit from Dig Your Roots, "May We All." It features TIm McGraw and has scanned 253k to date. Little Big Town's Taylor Swift-penned new hit "Better Man" glides into the Top 5. The band -- which just announced a residincy at The Ryman -- has sold 26k in just 8 days of chart action (they debuted at #30 last week with 6,000 downloads in just one day). Rounding out the Top 5 with thier first radio airplay #1 as artists is LOCASH with "I Know Someobody." The single has scanned 168k to date.

Top 10 Notes

Miranda Lambert's nearly-gold single "Vice" sits at #6 with 397k scanned to date while the Artists Of Then, Now & Forever track "Forever Country" (a song which was made for the 50th CMA Awards) is at #7 with sales of 244,000 downloads. Kelsea Ballerini's "Peter Pan" is next and has scanned 553k to date. Brett Young's "Sleep Without You" is in the Top 10 with 219k downloads to date, a number that has been helped by his run inside the radio airplay Top 10 with this debut for BMLG Records. Finally rounding out the Top 10 is FGL's "H.O.L.Y.," a single which has scanned nearly 1.3 million downloads to date.

Notable Track Notes

Johnny Cash's "Hurt" jumps inside the Top 30 with sales of 11k to bring the total tally to 2.05 million downloads while Carrie Undewood is close to 100k downloads for "Dirty Laundry," the fourth single from her successful Storyteller project. Jon Pardi's "Dirt On My Boots" looks like it's gonna follow "Head Over Boots" as both a radio and digital sales success. Thomas Rhett's "Star Of The Show" is trending towards hit status too. Meanwhile, Cole Swindell and Kane Brown debut with new tracks from newly released (or forthcoming) projects. Brad Paisley's "Today" has sold 59k in three weeks (it debuted at #1) and is already doing better than Demi Lovato duet "Without A Fight" was for the singer.
