Garth Brooks Releases “Baby Lets Lay Down And Dance” As New Single

The first single from his forthcoming album is available on GhostTunes and through his partnership with Frito-Lay.

The iconic superstar, who is the top-selling solo artist in the history of the USA, has released his first single from his upcoming 11th studio project, a record released via his own label Pearl Records, Inc.

Thanks to radio airplay partnerships, the song will likely debut in the Top 40 of the Mediabase charts after an early run this coming weekend and it holds a special place in Garth Brooks’ heart.

“’Baby, Let’s Lay Down and Dance' was just a fun title that Kent Blazy has had in his book of titles forever, always threatening to write it,” said Brooks. "So one day Kim, Kent and I sat down and wrote it. We got a little help from Steve Dorff and then Victoria Shaw finished it. In the middle of this, Kim Williams passed away. I’ve got to tell you, I love love love this song, but probably my greatest joy is the fact that this is a Kim Williams song. Not only did it make this record, it’s the first single off this record.”

Garth will release his new album as part of the Target-exclusive BoxSet set to hit stores in mid-November with the single album hitting stores on Black Friday, November 25, in the rest of the world. Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood will also release a duo Christmas album this year.
