Love and Theft Sign With Curb

Award-winning duo behind "Whiskey on my Breath" partners with iconic indie label.

It's been a year in which they've changed a few things in their career and by gambling on themselves, Love and Theft's Stephen Barker Liles and Eric Gunderson have reaped the benefits by signing another record label deal, this time with Curb Records, the hugely successful indie label behind Lee Brice and rising stars Ashley Gearing and Dylan Scott, among others.

"Whiskey On My Breath," the single, has charted in the Top 60 of the Billboard and Mediabase charts and has been hugely popular on SiriusXM's The Highway channel and has sold quite well. Their album of the same name was released via the band's own Hate and Purchase music via Thirty Tigers.

"This is AWESOME!, said Curb's VP Taylor Childress on the duo being added to,the roster. We couldn’t be more fired up to welcome Stephen and Eric to the Curb family. They are true artists in every sense of the word and we can’t wait to get to work with them and their team on taking their artistry to even greater heights.”

“We realized we had a chance to give fans a record that best represented us as artists when we decided to release the new album independently,” says Gunderson. “By signing with Curb, who are an independent company themselves, we have an amazing opportunity to work with them while keeping our integrity as artists.”

“We are honored to be signed to Curb Records,” Barker Liles adds. “Mike Curb and Jim Ed Norman are both legends who share our passion for music and independence, so to be a part of a team who understands and believes in who we are and the music we are making is inspiring.”

The duo's string of hits includes the #1 RIAA-certified "Angel Eyes" and chart hits "Running out of air" and "Runaway" among others.
