Country Albums Chart Report: March 1, 2016

Chris Stapleton leads at #1 while Sister Hazel debuts at #4 with their first country chart project, "Lighters In The Air." See where Sam Riggs latest & Joey+Rory's new Hymns project land this week as well.

After one week outside of the #1 slot so his friends Joey+Rory could hold down fort there, Chris Stapleton returns to #1 with Traveller. Joey+Rory's brilliant Hymns project has crossed the 100k sold mark in its two weeks on the charts (easily the fastest a Country/Hymns project like this has hit that number in quite some time). at #3 this week is Sam Hunt's Montevallo. Debuting at #4 this week is Sister Hazel's Lighter In The Dark and it is the longtime storytelling rock-leaning band's first appearance on this chart. Rounding out the Top 5 is Vince Gill's Down To My Last Bad Habit. Vince has sold nearly 25k copies in two weeks.
