Country Album Chart Report: November 30, 2015

After one week away, Chris Stapleton returns to #1 with "Traveller," an album which is nearly Gold.

On the same week Adele sold 3.4 million copies of her latest album 25, Chris Stapleton's Traveller is back at the top of the Country album sales chart with over 437k albums scanned to date and all but assured a Gold album in the next couple of weeks. Carrie Underwood's Storyteller is at #2 (up nearly 70% over last week) to slide into #2 while Eric Church holds steady at #3 with Mr. Misunderstood. The #4 album this week is last week's chart-topper, Chris Young's I'm Comin' Over. The album has scanned 76k to date. Rounding out the Top 5 is Sam Hunt's Montevallo, a record with 864k scanned to date.

Top Ten Recap

At #6 is Blake Shelton's Reloaded: 20 #1 Hits with over 89k scanned to date. Luke Bryan's Kill The Lights is at #7 with sales of 14k joining his 730k overall. Thomas Rhett's Tangled Up. Tim McGraw's Damn Country Music is at #9 with 60k scanned while Zac Brown Band's Greatest Hits: So Far is at #10 with 232k scanned to date.

Notables

Don Henley's Cass County is at #11 with 184k scanned while George Strait's  Cold Beer Conversation and Zac Brown Band's Jekyll+Hyde both fit within the Top 15.

Other notables include Christmas albums from Rhonda Vincent, LeAnn Rimes, Kenny Rogers and the Now! Country Christmas compilation.
