Country Albums Chart Report: November 23, 2015

Chris Young scores the first #1 album of his career with "I'm Comin' Over" while Chris Stapleton remains a sales sensation as well.

Chris Young has finally earned his first chart-topping album with I'm Comin' Over, his fifth album. At #2 this week is Chris Stapleton's Traveller, an album which has now scanned nearly 389k to date and looks like a solid bet to hit Gold very, very soon. Eric Church's Mr. Misunderstood is at #3 with 158k to date while Carrie Underwood's "Storyteller" is at #4 with nearly 265k scanned. Rounding out the Top 5 is Tim McGraw's "Damn Country Music," which has scanned nearly 58k to date.

Sitting at #6 is Luke Bryan's Kill The Lights with 706k scanned to date. Thomas Rhett's at #7 with Tangled Up while Sam Hunt's Montevallo has moved nearly 850k to sit at #8. At #9 is Blake Shelton with his latest Greatest hits, Reloaded: 20 #1 Hits.  Rounding out the Top 10 is Don Henley's Cass County, an album which has moved 177k to date.

Notables

Old Dominion's Meat And Candy is at #11 with George Strait's Cold Beer Conversation with nearly 171k scanned to date. Other notables include Christmas albums from LeAnn Rimes, Kenny Rogers and the Now! Country Christmas compilation.
