“Burning House” Certified Gold

Cam’s break-out ballad earns RIAA certification as music video premieres online.

Arista Nashville/RCA Records singer/songwriter CAM is set to launch the music video for “Burning House” on Wednesday (via a 24 hour exclusive premiere with Entertainment Tonight and ETonline.com) but got the surprise of her career with the presentation from her record label in Nashville that her breakout hit had been certified GOLD by the RIAA for sales of 500,000 digital tracks.

“Burning House” is Cam’s breakout and the video was shot by ACM and CMA Award winner Trey Fanjoy and was produced by Trent Hardville for Big Feather Films.

The song, written from Cam’s own personal experiences, is her first RIAA Gold record and can be found on her digital EP Welcome To Cam Country.

that is a big achievement for a debut single in the current climate of declining music sales. granted at the height of CD singles in the late 90's early 2000's the list price for a standard single was between 5-9 dollars Remix singles Maxi singles and imports were more expensive because they usually featured extra tracks possibly outtakes from the recording and the video of the main song unless the single was released prior to the video being shot or released
